Secure Payment Processing

Your security is important to us. All online donations to Sera Wildlife Conservancy are processed through the secure eCommerce payment gateway provided by Absa Bank Kenya PLC.
 

How Your Card Details Are Handled

  • Sera Wildlife Conservancy does not collect, process, or store your full payment card details on its website.

  • When you proceed to payment, your card information is captured directly within the secure, encrypted, PCI-DSS compliant environment of our payment processor.

  • Card data is transmitted using industry-standard encryption (TLS) to protect it during transmission.
     

3-D Secure Authentication

Where supported by your card and bank, payments are protected by 3-D Secure authentication (such as Verified by Visa and Mastercard Identity Check). This adds an additional layer of verification to confirm that you are the legitimate cardholder.
 

What We Store

Once a donation is complete, we retain only non-sensitive transaction information for reconciliation and record-keeping, including:

  • Your donation reference number

  • The transaction reference provided by the payment gateway

  • The amount, currency, and payment status

We never store your card number, expiry date, or security code (CVV).

Card payments are acquired and settled by:

Absa Bank Kenya PLC

Payments on your card statement will appear under the descriptor: "SERA WILDLIFE CONSERV"
